Firstly, Happy New Year to all our customers, fellow artists and friends and family the support we've had this year from you all is amazing. This time last year we were getting our new studio ready to open, which we did with our awesome Galactic Charity Day where we were able to raise money for 3 Leek charities Moorlands Dog Rescue, The Beatrice Charity and the Leek & District Foodbank. We welcomed Mick Emery Tattooer to the team who we've seen push his tattooing and along with Bex Heath Artist had their work published in Skin Deep Tattoo Magazine for the first time. We've seen Bex develop in to a well rounded artist who's really showing her strengths in her colour work, we couldn't be prouder. We took on a studio apprentice Charl Greenwood Tattoo who's natural ability at drawing puts her in good stead to be a great tattooist, it won't be long before she does that first tattoo. Hollie May was featured in Skin Deep Tattoo Magazine as part of the Rebel Inc series about her art and tattoo style. She was also asked her views for two more features in the magazine during the year, and also a portfolio. We were honoured to be asked again to sponsor the brilliant Leek Blues & Americana and also host the Sparrow Park Outdoor Stage, which we had some ace bands plays and we were able to raise £200 for the Leek & District Foodbank. We also welcomed Teal Tortoise Piercing to the studio which has helped expand the services we offer and brings interesting topics of conversation to the studio on a Saturday!! We worked our first convention Halloween Tattoo Bash as #teamoldsmithytattoo, had some very talented guest artist come hang out with us and share their knowledge and make some awesome tattoos. Matt's not been able to keep himself out of the local press!! From coming second in the Partial Beard Freestyle Category at the The British Beard and Moustache Championships to the continued charity work the studio is proud to be involved in. To finally being involved with the Fill a Sock Appeal - Leek, we've had an awesome year and can't thank everyone enough who's been tattooed by us or visited the studio, thank you, here's to 2019 🎉🎉👍👍
